R&D: direction for packaging and image
For the newest edition to the SuperSuede™ Baked family, Bronzer introduced a challenge when deciding how we wanted to differentiate the primary packaging from the existing SuperSuede™ Baked Blush and SlipTint™ Pressed Powder compacts. This lead to the decision to re-introduce a bronze foil that was previously used on one of Saie’s brushes. This bronze nods to the product itself, bronzer, but also the bronze statues and coins of Italy – the birthplace of this baked bronzer.
For the campaign of SuperSuede™ Baked Bronzer, it is a visual evolution of the SuperSuede™ Baked Blush launch from the previous year. It leans on beach-y Italian supporting content while in-studio images will feature strong pay off and visibility of shade range. Creative content leans on the postcard theme set in the blush campaign. I created and photographed stacks of found ephemera, custom Saie postcards and inspiration images as a teaser moment for this campaign.
Building on the design direction from the SuperSuede™ Baked Blush campaign, we continued a stamp motif to unify this new addition to the family. Along with pairing clean typographic treatments with handwritten elements to maintain a refined yet personal touch. Rather than highlighting the vibrant blush shades as we did previously, this launch will focus on tonal browns—complemented by pops of pastels from the content captured in Italy + our Saie Lilac.
